  1. Hi. I found you thru the Downtown Ashevelle fb site & I am so happy. Looks like you are everything I’ve been looking for. I would like to come to your office sometime next week. Do I need to make an appointment or can I just stop by? Thank you. I look forward to seeing you soon. R Harrison

  2. Does your Business employ in house and/or freelance graphic artists?
If so, is there an email I can sent a portfolio link to?

    1. We are doing metal prints now. We also have metallic paper for a less expensive option. We also do acrylic prints. Stop by for examples to feel and look at the different framing options.

      1. Hey there, I’m interested in getting some metal prints done. What is the best way to see them first (I see your store front is closed)? Thanks!

      2. There’s not really a best way to see them if you are printing on metal. I could do some test prints on the metallic paper to give you some idea how they will come out. Sorry for the delay.

  3. Hi Mr Hood – My Husband took a digital photo class from you about a year ago at ab tech, do you teach any classes on taking pictures of people or portraits, Clark signed up for a class like that at ab tech and was ready to go take it next week but they changed the day so now he cant take it, he is off work in the winter months and was so hoping to take the class , just wondering. Thanks vic davidson

    1. I do not teach one at the college but I am avilible for private lessons at anytime and am proficient with shooting people and lighting. I would love to help just have him call me at 838-575-2170 tomorrow and we can discuss time.

  4. Hi, Do you have the capability to scan large documents? What is the largest size document that you can scan to a digital format?
And, If you do not can you make a referral to someone in the Asheville area that can?
    Thanks đŸ™‚

  5. I would like to send a photo to you for test printing. It is a wedding portrait that has been edited using Photoshop and Lightroom. Could you reccomend settings that would allow you to print the best photo quality?

  6. Do you all sell gift cards? I’m located 8 hours from Asheville, but would love to purchase a gift card for a friend who lives in Asheville. Thanks!

      1. It’d be fine to hold the gift card for her. That’s a good idea. Should I contact you via phone to arrange this? If so, will you be open Dec. 24th or should I call you after Dec. 25th?

  7. do you scan photos…I have a lot of old photos (some not so old) that I would like to have scanned from prints to an SD card…and how much per scan, if you do in fact scan photos. Please email me with answer so I don’t have to keep checking back on this site and I don’t wish to get on your email list.

    1. I don’t know how to find your email on here so I have to respond this way. We do scan photos. Anything 8×10 or smaller is $1 each. If they are bigger than that we have to shoot them with a camera in the studio and are $10 each. If you have any other questions give us a call 828-575-2170

  8. I have been struggling with printing out our pictures from Yellowstone. After editing and color calibrating our monitor, our pictures have thus far been extremely disappointing. They look amazing on our end, but when they come back from printing they don’t compare. I would love to hear your ideas on how we should be editing (formats, equipment, etc.)

    1. Sorry for the delay in response. I was sick last week. I would say email them over to me and I’ll give them a look. I could even print you a test to give you an idea of my quality vs others. A lot of other print services do not calibrate their equipment for whatever reason or don’t review your photos before printing them and settings between machines rarely match up perfectly. Send them to
